Short Film Entry Requirements: ​

1. Must be your own original work: this means it was made by you, you have all rights to the film, and exhibition of your film doesn't breach or infringe upon any other rights (including music, images, and any other content).

2. Must be less than 15 minutes

3. No Commercials or Reels (exception: parodies) 

4. All films must include subtitles (burned into the video / not a separate file), or else it will be disqualified from winning the competition. If you don't know how, or don't have the time, Natalie can do it for you for $30 (just email us).

5. Only Official Music Videos are permitted (no fan videos)

6. One entry / person or group / monthly competition

7. If a film gets GONGED, it can be re-worked and re-submit to future competition. 

Things you should know:

If you break or lie about any of the entry rules listed above, you will be banned & blacklisted for 5 - 8 years.

There is no fee for submitting a film, but we do ask that filmmakers purchase their own tickets to the event.

If you're not able to attend, you can still submit. We'll show your film if we don't get enough entries from filmmakers who are able to attend. However, if you or a representative can't be there, you will not be eligible to win and the red light will stay on for the entirety of the film.

If we receive more than enough entries, precedence is first given to filmmakers who can attend, and then to filmmakers who have submit the least amount of times.

If your entry doesn't make it into the competition, you can submit the same film to future shows. No edits required. You will need to re-submit the entry form each month.

Films that have compete in the YouTube show are permitted to enter the in-person show at the Parkway as well. No edits required.

​

If a film was gonged at a previous competition, filmmakers are invited to re-work it and try it out on the audience again. Substantial edits required.
